Kate Owen-King joined Grant Kovacs Norell as an associate in 2011. Since her call to the bar in 2006, she has successfully represented clients in chambers, at trial and on appeal. Kate's practice has involved a wide variety of commercial matters, including construction litigation, wrongful dismissal, insurance defence and shareholder disputes.
Kate obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in Anthropology, with minors in English and History. Kate attended law school at UBC, where she began serving clients and the community by volunteering and later working for the Law Students Legal Advice Program and Pro Bono Students Canada. Kate enjoys reading fiction, art, exploring Canada and bicycling.
