Alisa practices general insurance litigation and has experience in a variety of areas of law. She has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia and has appeared before the Mental Health Review Board, representing clients challenging their involuntary detainment under the Mental Health Act. In 2015, Access Pro Bono selected Alisa as a top 10 mental health program volunteer.
Alisa currently serves on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association, B.C. Animal Law section.
Prior to law, Alisa worked in research in neurology and genetics.
Away from work, Alisa enjoys playing soccer, basketball and hockey, spending time in nature and engaging locally on animal welfare and advocacy matters.
